What it is, simply
Scrotoplasty involves placing a testicular implant, unilateral or bilateral, to restore a natural, symmetrical scrotal appearance. It is intended for men who have lost one or both testicles due to surgery, trauma, or congenital absence.
What we use, and why
A small incision is made in the scrotum or groin, allowing placement of the cohesive silicone implant, chosen to closely replicate the size and texture of a natural testicle.
This approach aims for aesthetic and psychological restoration, with no impact on sexual or hormonal function.

Who it's for
This surgery suits men who have lost one or both testicles (cancer, torsion, infection, trauma, or congenital absence) and wish to restore their body image.
Contraindications
Active infection in the genital region, uncontrolled bleeding disorders, or an unstabilized medical condition.
What this procedure cannot do
This surgery is strictly aesthetic and does not affect sexual or hormonal function.
Realistic expectations
A natural scrotal appearance with restored symmetry, and improved self-confidence and psychological comfort.
Preventive care
This procedure is corrective: it restores symmetry already affected, rather than preventing future loss.
Where this procedure takes place
This surgery takes place in an accredited outpatient surgical suite, with a qualified medical team and appropriate sterilization standards.
What happens, step by step
Before
A consultation confirms the indication and determines the appropriate implant size for your anatomy.
During
Under spinal anesthesia, a small incision in the scrotum or groin allows the implant to be placed. The procedure takes 45 to 60 minutes.
After
Supportive underwear is recommended from discharge, with clear instructions to limit strain during the first few days.
What to expect, and when
First few days
Mild to moderate discomfort is normal, well managed with prescribed medication.
First few weeks
Return to work after 7 to 10 days; resume sports after 4 to 6 weeks.
Lasting results
A natural, stable result, with a lasting improvement in self-confidence.
Recovery is part of the care
Restrictions
Wear supportive underwear for several weeks and avoid strenuous physical effort during this period.
Recommended local care
Keep the incision clean and dry, and follow the medical team's instructions.
Warning signs
Fever, worsening pain, or unusual discharge should be reported to the medical team.
