What it is, simply
An arm lift corrects skin laxity on the inner arms, often following weight loss or aging. The procedure removes excess skin and residual fat to tighten the arm's contour.
What we use, and why
A discreet incision is made along the inner arm, from the armpit to the elbow depending on the extent of laxity, allowing removal of excess skin and fat.
The skin is then redraped with fine sutures for a more toned, harmonious contour.

Who it's for
This surgery suits men with skin laxity of the arms, often after significant weight loss, causing aesthetic or functional discomfort.
Contraindications
Unstable weight, uncontrolled bleeding disorders, or active smoking not paused before surgery.
What this procedure cannot do
This surgery leaves a scar along the arm, visible in certain positions, in exchange for skin tightening that no other treatment can offer for pronounced laxity.
Realistic expectations
Firmer arms with a marked reduction in skin laxity. Results are durable if weight remains stable.
Preventive care
This procedure is corrective: it treats existing skin laxity.
Where this procedure takes place
This surgery takes place in an accredited operating facility, with a complete medical team including an anesthesiologist and qualified nursing staff. Sterilization and safety standards match those of a hospital setting.
What happens, step by step
Before
A consultation assesses the extent of laxity to determine the length of incision needed.
During
Under general anesthesia, an incision along the arm allows removal of excess skin and fat, followed by skin redraping. The procedure takes about 2 hours.
After
A compression sleeve is fitted before you leave, with clear instructions for arm movement during the first few days.
What to expect, and when
First few days
Swelling and bruising are normal for 1 to 2 weeks.
First few weeks
Return to work after 7 to 10 days; resume sports after 6 to 8 weeks.
Lasting results
A marked reduction in laxity, durable if weight remains stable.
Recovery is part of the care
Restrictions
The compression sleeve should be worn for 4 to 6 weeks. Avoid raising the arms above the shoulders during the first few days.
Recommended local care
Keep the incision clean and dry, and wear the compression sleeve as prescribed.
Warning signs
Fever, worsening pain, or unusual discharge should be reported to the medical team.
